Ami Blackwelder has created a world which surpasses the entire Twilight series, but which contains many of the elements which made that series so popular. The teenage girl who discovers she's a hybrid species is believable and you truly care what happens to her. The love angles are handled skillfully, and the entire world which Ami has created is believable and draws you in. Thank you for giving us something genuinely exciting to read. It appears as if you're in the process of doing a sequel and prequel? Bring them on! |

The Hunted of 2060 Reviewed!
Read in July, 2010
I am only giving it three stars because it is young adult fiction otherwise, I liked the premises or concept of the story and found the plot intriguing with its believable futuristic developments, both the human and hybrid thoughts and feelings were realistic making it a naturally thought provoking read. I wish I had realized the character illustrations were in color at back of book, they would have been more helpful for visualization techniques had they been in the front. I believe the author has a solid enough foundation in the “Hunted of 2060” for the sequel and prequel to be just as interesting, all in all a good read.
