The Day the Flowers Died Review- Book Lover
This novel is captivating. The details. The history. The flow of a romantic story interlaced within the framework of such brutality. I could have been reading a Harlequin Romance novel, but it was much more than that -sophisticated, educational, genuine, and heartfelt. I was cheering for Eli and Rebecca from chapter one and enjoyed each chapter to find out what will happen to them, to their forbidden love. Set in a time of prejudice, it is truly one of the best love stories.
